Die Plattform trägt den Namen "bwrider" und wurde geschaffen, um die Mobilität der Bürgerinnen und Bürger Baden-Württembergs zu revolutionieren und gleichzeitig das Leitbild der Mobilitätsstrategie 2030 zu unterstützen. „bwrider“ ist ein gefördertes Projekt vom Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr und wurde in Kooperation mit der Nahverkehrsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg (NVBW) realisiert.
